A growing medium is a system. Zeolite selection should be considered alongside organic components, nutrients, irrigation, pH, density and pore structure rather than assessed in isolation.
Controlled fractions support repeatability
Narrower screened grades may make volumetric dosing and blending more consistent. Fine grades may suit other formulations but require appropriate dust management. A sample should be run through the actual process where possible.
